I am a PhD candidate at department of civil engineering, Monash university. I have a BSc in applied geology and a MSc in engineering geology. I have graduated as the top student from both degrees. Currently, I am working on the relationship between rock physics and fracture mechanics with the aid of statistical physics methods and quantitative fractography. I have worked in different academic fields and industrial projects including mineral processing, image processing, abrassiveness and drillability of rock materials, C & D waste recycling, electron and optical microscopy, remote sensing and geological field mapping to name but a few.
